Thanks to all who came out to last night’s show in SF. Met some nice folks, and was ecstatic to play some of the songs from our upcoming album!
The Tunnel will be performing Saturday night April 28th in the beautiful Mission district of San Francisco, as part of the 2-night Deathrock Night Terrors hootenanny at SubMission. Should be inneresting. Headless Lizzy & her Icebox Pussy are headlining, with 5 deathgothglamrock DJs + tacos next door. All ages, 8 bucks. Rocknroll!

also: I (Jeff) am having another go at my weirdo karaoke poetry rawk in Berkeley this Friday Feb 17 at Karen Penley’s weirdo cabaret at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shephard at 1823 9th Street, 7-9pm, $10.
“Whether The Tunnel or The Tunnel Of Love you’d be right to expect quality work if the Wagner maestro is at the helm, and he is…with Sam Black (bass/keyboards) and Patrick Crawford (drums) rivalling his presence these are creations that take a blistered, suppurating garage/Americana cortex and throw it out to defend itself with their self-help guide stuck to its arse. And it works…Surreptitiously seedy, monumentally melodic.”

The Man with the Magic Pompadour. from Jeff’s solo performance in Berkeley, Friday the 13th, 2012.
the Tunnel’s last record “Fathoms Deep” made an Illinois Entertainer Top 10 Albums of 2011 list. Halfway between Wilco and KEN Mode. Will ponder on this. (http://illinoisentertainer.com/2011/12/file-year-end-top-10s)
Also: I (Jeff) am going to appear solo in Berkeley, this Friday the 13th, at a new experimental performance series curated by Karen Penley. She calls it “Retard: the Church Shows”…it’s at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shephard at 1823 9th Street, 7-9pm, $10. Should be wild. There will be cake. (theretardshow.wordpress.com)
